Tim is passionate about working with people in business to help solve difficult issues with a strong track record in delivering the right solutions. Twenty years operating at a senior level on diverse roles in a number of industries. Experience ranges from building a SME consultancy business from scratch, working as an FD on a relocation project for a prominent insurance company to helping develop an internet start-up. He honed his skill set in the Finance and Cost Management division of PwC Advisory.
As a Management Accountant, he set up a full financial planning and analysis department for a mutual insurance company (Pearl Assurance) in the early 1990s. Went on to deliver a strategic plan and three year plan, and set up a complete change programme.
In the mid-1990s he worked for PwC as a consultant in their finance and cost management group working on a number of assignments over five years. These included a large finance transformation, and acting as CFO for an out of area electricity company as regulation opened up.
In 2000 he joined a 500 people Fintech company based out of the US, and helped establish an international issue based consultant group specialising in income growth He was there for fifteen years and in 2007 the company was bought by Fiserv. (Global 500 company). As Operations Director he had management control of all business development, delivery and Finance and HR functions
As an interim manager he completed two high successful assignments from 2015 onwards.
At the Royal London Group, as a Finance Director, he took control of the Estates Strategy programme, and delivered a £50mn business case for a new head office which including moving the entire company onto a ‘workplace strategy’ around the optimisation of space.
At Raphaels Bank, as Head of Partnership Relations, he was responsible for closing the Payment Services department as part to their board strategy to shut the bank. This included unwinding all commercial contracts, managing all risk and compliance issues with the regulator, releasing staff in a controlled manner, and full relationship management of the programmes and Visa/MasterCard schemes.
Tim has lived and brought up a family in the East Midlands over the past thirty years.
