Paula has over 24 years’ experience as a Finance Director and a Supervisory Board Member for a variety of companies and relishes using that experience within new organisations to assist their growth and performance across a wide range of sectors and organisations, from healthcare to windfarms, she has experience in large multi-nationals and small owner-managed businesses. Paula has been involved in mergers and acquisitions, business start-ups and closures and an MBO. Paula qualified in industry joining a Management Training Scheme with a large engineering organisation directly from university, she has also completed a number of qualifications including a Diploma in Company Direction from IOD and The Association of Project Managers.
Paula’s specific skills and experience are in business transformations, whether that is through re-organisations, improved processes and systems, people development or mergers and acquisitions.
Paula particularly enjoys being involved in improving operational performance across all disciplines and enjoys being on-site and working with people across the business to improve performance. She has led a number of ERP system implementations including 2 SAP implementations encompassing entire businesses.
Paula has considerable commercial experience especially in the areas of contract and project performance.
As people are the core asset of every business, Paula views people development as an essential investment. She enjoys spending time with people to improve their performance and places emphasis on coaching and mentoring.
Paula has experience in large multi-nationals and small owner-managed businesses. She has been involved in mergers and acquisitions, business start-ups and closures and an MBO. Having spent 24 years as a Supervisory Board Member for a variety of companies she relishes using that experience within new organisations to assist their growth and performance. Paula has also been a member of the Institute of Directors and completed a number of qualifications with them including a Diploma in Company Direction.
Her management style is to be approachable and work in a collaborative way and she will challenge ideas and ensure that plans and proposals are fully thought through.
