Paul has over 30 years’ experience gained at a Big 4 Accountancy firm and a diverse provider of business equipment and services. For the last 13 years he has worked at Finance Director level, leading the finance function for a £100m region in a global listed company.
As well as responsibility for all financial activities, Paul has significant experience of delivering business strategy and leading operational functions such as IT. Working in a very diverse business, he has significant experience of dealing with B2B equipment sales, service & maintenance as well as software (including SAAS), professional services and financial services. Financial Services experience was gained leading an FCA regulated leasing company for over 10 years.
Experiencing all stages of the business cycle, from start-up/high growth through to managing through a period of financial stress, Paul is both able to drive revenues through launching new products and services and improve profitability through cost optimisation programmes.
Paul also has significant experience in leading projects including M&A activity, digital transformation and recently a Head Office relocation.
With a calm approach and good listening skills, Paul can quickly build strong relationships and easily fit into any situation.
