Martin Levoir – Principal, The West Country
Martin Levoir joined The FD Centre in 2007 and currently works with ambitious clients including a healthcare resourcing and outsourcing agency, an office fit out and M&E business, an environmental charity and an investment company. He has also worked with a web based education business, a user experience consultancy, an educational research business and an office machine reseller. Martin works closely with owners and their management teams and combines a strategic approach to business development with an emphasis on best practice financial management and reporting. His specialism is supporting business owners on a journey from their current situation to achieve their strategic objectives. In recent years he has successfully taken three clients through sale processes to achieve excellent outcomes.
Martin qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in Bristol and stayed with them as an audit and investigations manager acquiring experience in sectors as diverse as electronics, property services, drinks and poultry. His industry experience includes being Finance Director of a sizeable national air conditioning distribution group. He has significant experience of both high growth and turnaround situations including obtaining and managing finance. He also has the full range of commercial experience involved in running an SME which helps him to empathise and work effectively with small business owners and managers.
