Mark has operated in a variety of SME and corporate structures ranging from owner manager businesses, private equity funded, public limited companies, social enterprise charities, working in capacity of accountant, financial controller, head of finance, director, group finance director, equity group finance director. Mark has a diverse range of industry experience ranging from charities, fashion, construction groups, engineering, technology groups, international jewellery groups, multiple transport groups, printing & media groups, construction recruitment, construction payroll, and fit out services. Typical turnover for companies Mark has helped range from start ups to £78m. Mark has collected in excess of £0.6 billion during his tenure and managed teams ranging from 4 to 20 people within finance.
Mark has also moved companies from old accountancy packages to state of the art portal solutions utilising technology to significantly reduce costs and faster accounts production. One company now has a listed PLC board pack 4 days after month end.
Mark has managed change management programmes and has been heavily involved in acquisitions, disposals, and business turnarounds. He has worked with business owners and directors for over 20 years with proven success and client referrals.
