Kevin spent the early part of his career working within the Co-operative Movement, working in South Yorkshire, Scotland and Lincolnshire. As Chief Financial Officer in Lincolnshire, and later as Deputy CEO, Kevin was responsible for a diverse range of businesses with a total turnover exceeding £250 million per annum. He then went on to co-found a multi-media and audio-visual integration business based in Lincoln, eventually opening offices in Surrey, Hong Kong and India. Kevin successfully developed new business channels throughout Europe and South Asia and procured some significant blue chip companies as clients.
During this time, Kevin held a number of non-executive board positions including property investment, children’s’ services, and football. He has accumulated a significant number of years of experience in working at board level, both as an executive and a non-executive. More latterly, Kevin took over as Managing Director & Finance Director of Lincoln City Football Club, steering them from near oblivion in 2014, through a period of significant on field success, and leaving them with unprecedented financial stability.
Kevin is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, holds an MA in Finance & Accounting, and an MBA. During his professional career he has been involved in business turnaround, business growth, business acquisition, business management, as well as financial management, reporting and control. His experience working with large and small businesses means he has a good understanding of the business and financial needs of SMEs including an empathy gained from being a business owner.
