Ken is a highly commercial finance director with a track record of delivering shareholder value in privately held companies. He has extensive experience of strategic business planning, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, tax planning and cash management.
He led the MBO of a £100m global IT distribution business with a complex business model and shareholder structure. After conducting an extensive corporate re-organisation, involving the demerger of the business into three separate groups, successful exits were achieved yielding a substantial return for shareholders.
Ken trained with KPMG in London and has 30 years of experience in a variety of senior finance roles. He has significant experience of working with owner managed SME businesses in a variety of sectors, including distribution, e-commerce and manufacturing. He has also worked as an interim finance professional, setting up the finance and commercial support team for the mobile telecommunications business Orange PLC and supporting the turnaround of a semi-conductor packaging plant in South Wales.
Ken has an open, inclusive management style, believes in getting behind the numbers to understand the key factors driving business performance and uses this to help business owners understand how to best maximize value.
