Jim is a highly commercial and operational finance leader with over 20 years’ experience of driving sustained business improvements. He has worked in owned managed SMEs, private equity backed businesses and large multinational corporate organisations, across many geographies.
He has experience across a broad range of service organisations, including Life Sciences, Membership, Training, Hospitality, and Financial Services. His range of finance skills and experience have been developed across these organisations working through to Board level.
Jim has worked to support and realise organisations potential through creating and implementing strategic business plans, to deliver profitability through organic and acquisitive growth, revenue initiatives, cost reductions, and margin improvements. He has a proven track record in supporting businesses as they look to achieve their strategic, financial and operational goals.
Before moving into industry, he was an audit manager at KPMG, having qualified with Baker Tilly.
Jim is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has an Economics degree from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London.
Jim is married with a young son, a dog and two cats, and loves running, cycling, and football.
