Janine has spent the last 10 years working for SME’s in the financial services sector in the City of London. She has worked with companies from start up through to maturity and exit. Working closely with management and the Board to streamline operations and provide strategic guidance.
In her most recent role at Liberum Capital, turnover c. £55m, Janine was responsible for financial reporting, strategic planning and forecasting, she worked on commercial projects improving revenues in a highly regulated and competitive environment, managed all tax matters including transfer pricing agreements and VAT partial exemptions methods and was a member of the Risk and Regulatory Committee, overseeing all regulatory reporting for the Group.
Janine is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA/CGMA) and holds a bachelor of commerce in management accounting from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
Janine’s strengths lie in financial planning and analysis focussing on generating revenues, cost planning and cash flow management. She has vast experience in implementing operational systems and streamlining internal processes to improve accuracy and efficiency. Other skills include; tax planning, business plans, Board reporting, governance, HR and payroll and strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport across the business.
