David is an adaptable finance professional and has significant practical experience at both an operational and strategic level having run finance teams in large blue-chip companies as well as SME’s. His previous large company roles include tenures at ITT, DuPont, Avon Cosmetics, ABB and Capita. In addition, he has held the number one finance roles at significant growth businesses including Krohne Ltd and, more recently, Automated Systems Group Ltd (ASL).
At ASL, David was a key member of the acquisition team and his skill set includes synergy identification and delivery, due diligence exercises, SPA preparation and review and post-acquisition integration planning and delivery. He was also responsible for detailed strategic financial modelling and covenant testing for banking and funding purposes.
In addition to growing the business, David played a leading role when the VC’s exited ASL and it was bought by a PE house, dealing with the due diligence exercises and transition planning.
David has over thirty years of CIMA membership (ACMA/CGMA) and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management.
