Chris is a commercially focused FD/CFO, with a broad range of experience across industries and geographies. He is proactive and enthusiastic with a collaborative and pragmatic approach.
In addition to being responsible for all aspects of the finance function, he has overseen real estate, facilities, health & safety and procurement teams whilst also being a key board member, setting strategy and delivering on business plans. His other experience includes integrating acquisitions, process re-engineering plus cost and cash flow optimisation projects. Plus from his time at PwC he understands how to navigate corporate transactions such as flotations.
He has significant international experience and has successfully managed global teams with specific focus in the US, EMEA and Asia Pacific. In addition, in his roles as a company director of entities across the world and as chairman of trustees of pension schemes, he has worked extensively with HR and legal functions so can provide general guidance across many areas not just core finance.
Chris is thus able to bring a range of experience to help SME’s navigate today’s business challenges. Two of the large corporates Chris has worked for were started by entrepreneurs, hence he understands the importance of putting the right framework in place to underpin successful growth.
Outside of work Chris has three grown up children, a son and twin daughters, plus he is a keen cricketer and an avid supporter of Cambridge United.
