David Smith - Principal, Yorkshire & Humberside

David is a Business Management graduate with a Chartered Accountant qualification gained with a big 4 company in Birmingham. David has had 30 years experience in finance ranging from large FTSE 100 companies to SMEs over a wide range of industrial and corporate sectors. His financial experience has included introduction of IT systems, acquisitions and disposals, company turnarounds and formulation of strategic objectives.

Recent experience has been in a large food retail and manufacturing SME where in a very competitive environment, first as FD then MD, he oversaw significant increases in turnover and profitability resulting in a successful disposal.
