Jeff Reader - Principal, South Wales

Jeff started his career in the offshore oil industry in Wales and Scotland. After qualifying as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants he became Financial Controller of Kerr McGee Corporation's African operations and began an international career.

Jeff has lived, worked and conducted business in most countries in sub Saharan Africa and the Middle East.  As well as working in the oil and gas sector he has held a number of Finance Director positions in construction, manufacturing, utilities, truck and automotive businesses together with agribusinesses. He has also held several Managing Director positions.

His most recent international assignment was as Managing Director of a subsidiary of Seaboard Corporation, a NYSE listed US multinational agribusiness.

He has worked in all environments from UK, US and European multinationals to SMEs. He has been extensively involved in privatisations, change management and strategic planning. He has seen the need for accurate, reliable information and strong controls in organisations and has always worked to ensure this.

Jeff returned to his native Pembrokeshire in 2001. Being an accomplished international traveller he realised that a routine daily existence was not for him. Since returning he has put his extensive varied experience to use for various organisations.
