Tim Cowper - Principal, Thames Valley

Tim has spent 16 years in the biotech and medical sectors, at a variety of companies ranging from listed UK and US companies to start-ups. These companies have included Celltech, Sterilox (now called Puricore plc ) and more recently as Director of Finance at Vernalis (formerly British Biotech), where he spent a lot of time on UK and international acquisitions and restructurings.

Tim has also been a Finance Director and a non-executive director of an AIM listed leisure company for a few years.

Tim specialises in working with SMEs, particularly in the technology sector, that are either too small to employ a full-time FD or have a short term need for extra resource at a time of expansion or restructuring.

Tim is a Chartered Accountant trained at Ernst and Young and has passed his Corporate Treasury exams, which is particularly useful in these challenging times.
