Mike Pawley - Principal, Thames Valley

During his career, after qualifying with KPMG in Bristol, Mike held a number of positions as finance director mainly in the construction, property and professional services sectors.   Mike has worked as a part-time FD with a number of businesses in sectors as diverse as manufacturing, healthcare, sport and education, marketing & communications, IT and legal.

His experience has been very much as a hands-on FD involved in cash flow management, forecasting, project cost control, financial reporting, both internal and external, and business restructuring whilst also having considerable operational experience in the related areas of HR (including payroll and pensions), marketing and general management.
