William Plant – Principal, Thames Valley

William has held a variety of senior FD roles at both subsidiary and European levels. He has worked in the UK, USA, Switzerland and Germany and specialised mainly in the IT software and Retail sectors. Most recently he has been working for a small Charity with a £2m turnover so has experience of all sizes of organisation. William specialises in operational finance – making companies more effective and profitable – as well as dealing with turnarounds and the challenges of growth. Corporate career includes CA, Oracle Corporation, Kingfisher PLC and Data General. William qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC and has an MA from Cambridge in Natural Sciences and Management Studies.
