Phil Holt – Principal, South East

Phil qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte Haskins and Sells in Manchester in 1982. Since then he has worked in the UK and the USA as a Finance Director, COO and CEO of several small to large companies (£5m to £350m) and across several different sectors including IT, Direct Mail, Distribution, Ship Management and more recently Recruitment.

Phil has worked primarily in growth companies both in the UK and internationally and has acquired and merged nearly 20 businesses in the UK, Europe and the USA. He has been a Finance Director of both public companies, private equity backed companies and has experience of raising private equity finance and commercial bank funding. He has also completed a number of sale processes and taken a PE backed company through a successful exit strategy.

Since qualifying as an accountant Phil has acquired invaluable experience of managing through the financial and operational issues facing growth companies whether it be organic growth or acquisitive growth.
