Peter Bailey – Principal, West Country

Peter has held finance director roles both in the UK and overseas with ambitious businesses in several sectors including manufacturing, biotechnology, professional services, defence training and research. This commercial experience spans across the start up phase of a business through to exit by way of listing and trade sale.

Peter possesses an energetic coaching and achievement focused leadership style and is able to combine both a strategic view with the necessary “real” experience of operational growth solutions to the business. These include management reporting, bank funding and foreign currency policy matters, working capital improvement and developing systems and controls suitable for the business.

Peter is a qualified chartered accountant both in the UK and New Zealand having worked for Grant Thornton and Price Waterhouse Coopers and holds an honours degree in mathematics from the University of Bath.
