Nigel Maglione – Principal, East of England

Nigel is a commercially focused FD who has had direct experience of leading IT and HR as well as all areas of finance. Nigel spent 19 years at Whitbread, working in a variety of roles at both at an operational and a corporate level. During his time at Whitbread, Nigel worked on Production, Distribution, Pubs , wines and spirits, hotels and restaurants.  A particular focus was on new start businesses, in particular European expansion. In the 12 years since leaving Whitbread Nigel has worked for a number of privately backed businesses helping them to develop their strategies and then implementing financial controls and procedures. Nigel is highly experienced at managing relationships with banks, shareholders and partners and with assisting management teams to deal with areas such as HR, legal and IT.
