Michael Pentecost – Principal, The West Country

Michael qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Josolyne Layton-Bennett (now Ernst & Young) in London and has more than 15 years experience as Finance Director in quoted and private companies. He has worked in manufacturing, processing and contracting industries in sectors as diverse as the aircraft industry, property and printing.

He has considerable practical experience in the areas of financial management and controls, business planning and forecasting, profitability analysis and performance improvement, tax and treasury together with the management of operational cash flows and capital funding. His involvement has been with rapidly expanding businesses as well as those requiring a change of direction and his roles have demanded the ability to effectively communicate financial information to senior management in different disciplines.
