Graeme Allan – Principal, London

Prior to joining the FD Centre, I was working in a financial and commercial advisory role for a private equity backed technology
start-up firm which provides innovative digital payment products and services on an international basis to banks and mobile operators.

My earlier career was largely spent with major organisations in the I.T. services, high tech and telecoms sectors, where I held a number of senior financial and commercial management positions.

For 4 years I was Finance & Commercial Director for the large Cable & Wireless business that provides services to, and trades with, national and international telecoms operators. In this time, I drove the successful commercial management of several major multi-year deals.

Prior to this, I spent 10 years in senior management roles with Logica plc, the major European systems integration and professional services company. Latterly, I ran Logica’s Energy division, a very profitable 600-man professional services and project business with a t/o of over £100m and a world-wide remit to deliver large, complex, multi-year projects to a demanding client base. Previously, I had responsibility for the financial and commercial management of Logica’s operations in northern Europe and the UK. I had started as Finance Director of Logica’s UK operations, through a period of sustained growth in the 1990’s when the company’s performance was the best in the FTSE250 index.

My earlier career was in financial management roles, where I held a number of positions with ITT/STC, DEC and Diageo – blue-chip multi-national corporations – in the UK, Europe and Australia.

I’m married with a 15 year old son and live in Twickenham, south-west London
